"I did some reseach on another forum and didn't come up with much. Has anyone added a telltale to a 1971 Johnson 50hp? Were did you tap into the cooling system? It was recommended that I tap into the exhaust cover and as high as possible but there is a thermo switch assembly at the top of the exhaust cover that would be in the way. Any thoughts on where to mount one?
