"I have a 1984 doral citation with a 5.7lt,800 series sterndrive, mine works perfect, but I was given another 800 which I am going to have checked over to have as a spare, my question is I cannot find the model number listed anywhere on any of the identification charts. the # on the sterndrive is 982412, it is possible that it had a 5lt engine attached to it so I want to make sure it will be the right gear ratio to work with my 5.7 lt"
