not sure of the model year (looks like almost new). I plan to keep in at a beach house in Baja. I only will go there maybe 4x per year with months between use. My typical method of long term storage is a good flush as I unplug the gas line and let her run out of gas... Then I keep her covered. I add stabilize to the gas (or toss it and start new next time) and disconnect the battery.

Am I doing the right thing? Am I missing something? Any advise is apprecaited. Thanks! Ken

"Ken, sounds like you are doing everything well. The only other thing that you may want to do is spray a bit of fogging oil (or WD40 or similar) right into the cylinders (just remove the plugs and give them a shot).

Storing the motor in as "salty" environment could lead to some corrosion/sticking of piston rings - the oil would help ensure that if any moisture was trapped that it wouldn't present a problem. Upon start-up you would get some smoke and bit of "gunk" coming out the exhaust, but does no harm...."
