My trouble is with not being a

My trouble is with not being able to get the motor to shut off. I have replaced the starter switch and it was OK for several starts then the same problen returned. I can position the key so the dash lights don't indicate that the switch has been engaged but after a few minutes they come on again. I need help thanks.

"Hmm.... I have the same problem. I have found that placing a switch on the coil has helped. Have you replaced the alternator?
A gm one wire alternator will cause this dilemma. I tried a diode and a bulb for charging,and a few other wiring-type things. But solved it with a "kill" switch to the coil. Have you replaced the coil?"
