"I'm not sure about the 130's, but the BF50's have an alarm that sounds when the key is on (engine not necessarily running) and the engine is tilted up. You may want to check the tilt sending unit located on the port side engine mounting bracket, near the top of the large single ram to see if it is stuck in the "up" position. I
I can't think of anything else, but if the check engine light is on, a service connector can be attached to the engine and the check engine light will blink to correspond to what error code is being generated. You can buy this service connector from any Honda dealer for about $12. You will also need a shop manual to know what the blinks mean."
