"JUST CURIOUS, DOES ANYONE RECOMMEND UPGRADING A MECHANICAL ADVANCE DISTRIBUTOR IN A AQ 140 VOLVO. TO AN AFTERMARKET HEI UPGRADE? I TALKED TO SEVERAL LOCAL PEOPLE THAT RUN VOLVOS AND THEY SAID TO STICK TO THE POINTS. HOW TROUBLE FREE IS THIS UPGRADE AND DEPENDABILITY?"

I know that Pertronix is reliable and easy to isntall. But if is determined that Hot Spark kits are as reliable as Pertronix, that would be great news, as Hot Spark kits are much cheaper."
