"I have an'87 5.0LX that is in excellent condition. Typically, I only use the boat one week of the year while on vacation in northern Wisconsin. New problem - intead of runnimg at arpund 120 degrees at high rpms, it's now at 150ish and when idling after running, temp shoots up to 200+. I can bring the temp down by getting the rpm's 1500 or higher. Thermostat? Water pump? Gauge? Advice is greatly appreciated."
