What the best way to do a pres

What the best way to do a pressure test on a lower unit? do you drain all the oil and use the bottom hole or fill it up and use to top hole? and how many pound of pressure would be safe?

You want all air in there.Plug

You want all air in there.Plug the top hole / or bottom hole and add about 5 PSI pressure at the other.You can submerge unit or let sit overnight to monitor pressure.Quite simple really.
