"Hello, I have a 12hp but don't know the exact year. I was told it is a '84. The Model# is 122H9E and the Serial# is 1556. Any help is appreciated and thank you in advance."

Thank you Graham. I was trying to find a gear selector handle for it and everyone told me that a 12 horse was not made in 84. Do you know of where I be able to get one?

"Chrysler outboard has been long out of business. You can try www.discount-marine-parts.com

They used to be a Chrysler dealer and do carry a huge inventory of discontinued parts for numerous makes.

Aside from that, perhaps an engine recycler may be able to hook you up with something that would work - unless you want to try making something yourself..."
