Winterizing with OB equiped with FOGGING fitting

" I own a 1991 Evinrude 40 HP

" I own a 1991 Evinrude 40 HP outboard that is equipped with a valve attachment to be used for "fogging the engine for winter storage. However I cannot find the proper procedure to use the fitting,

is it done with the engine off?on,
do you fog until the motor stalls???

Any help will be appreciated "

Screw the hose connec

" Bob

Screw the hose connector that came with the can onto the fitting on the primer valve. The engine should be running and at operating temperature. The directions on the can should tell you how much to inject into your engine. The engine will smoke alot durning this process, when complete turn off engine and your done.
