OK it's late in the seaso
OK it's late in the season and time to put the boat away. Please let me know what the proper procedure would be for winterizing a 1991 115hp Rude VRO. I have added Gas Stabilizer to the gas the last 2 times out as weather has kept me ashore more often than I have wanted. Do I need to drain the carbs or run the engine till they are dry (pull the gas line on final engine flush). What's the procedure for Fogging? What about draining water from lower unit-water pump? Will simply tilting the engine several times eliminate the excess water? I want to get this right.
