"I know it will not be long before I must replace the following components and I'd appreciate knowing where you got yours in Canada, what the part number was and what it cost. I know answering this will be a bit of a bother for you and I really appreciate your trouble.

They can order that pump for you from any marine parts store, but you may want to shop around for prices first (West Marine and Harbour Chandler in Nanaimo, Boat House in Parksville, etc).

The copper pipes are a dealer item, and so is the raw water strainer (they don't sell the cap separately). You can try to get them either new or used at the Anchorage in Nanaimo (ask for Sue), their phone number is (250) 754-0945. Also, I understand there is a guy in Parksville who has sort of a Volvo Penta boneyard; I don't know his name, but his phone number is (250) 954-2321
