" I have a 1971 4 HP weedless
" I have a 1971 4 HP weedless motor that has been used very little. I started using it recently as a kicker for my small sailboat and it ran perfect. This morning it would fire, but not run. I took off the cowl and when I squeezed the primer bulb a jet of fuel came from a hole in the face of the carburetor on the port side. There are similar holes sealed with what appears to be a lead sphere driven into the hole. How hard is it to replace this seal? Could I drive in a piece of lead? If so do I use a Permatex type sealing compound? Thanks in advance for any help.
Best regards,
