My cooling water intakes got plugged the other day and the motor quickly overheated. It ran that way for about 2 minutes before I could get to a spot to shut it down. Docked it, replaced the impeller, flushed the mud out of the system, crossed my fingers and it runs as good as ever. What hidden damage could this have done? I did have to tighten the worm clamps on the exhaust as they seemed to develop a slight leak, maybe unrelated."

"You might have lucked out, especially if you have a FW Cooling system. THe hose rubber probably contracted from the heat--no big deal--but keep you eye on it.

Consider changing the oil and

Consider changing the oil and filter since you may have boiled it. Just in case.
