"Bob, What brand of oil and what weight do you you use in your engine ? I was hopeing you would chime in on the earlier post about the oil thing. HyStat has raised my concerns about thickness issues with oil in marine engines.

Anthony....I've always use

Anthony....I've always used straight 30. I've been fortunate enough to be close enough to a dealer who keeps some OMC branded stuff in stock. I know I pay a little more for it there but I only change it in my engines once a year so I don't mind paying a couple of extra bucks.
