I have a 1990 Johnson 40 hp outboard motor, I used to have a beep when I turn on the ignition key to start the motor, the buzzer is not there any more. I disconnected the temperature switch lead and grounded the horn lead (no beep) I'am quite sure that I have to replace the horn. My problem is to find the part number of this warning horn. I have check on the Internet and can't find anything. Can someone help me? The model number of my outboard motor is (VJ40TLESR) Johnson year 1990.
