I have a 98 Silverton 352 MY w

I have a 98 Silverton 352 MY with crusader 454 XLI motors anytime i run the port motor past 3600 rpm's the temp climbs to 220 and has overheated. If i run at 3400 it will run all day at a temp of 190. Have replaced impeller in seawater pump. Thinking heat exchanger may have a clog??????
 
Had a similar problems at lowe

Had a similar problems at lower RPM's - turned out to be cracked head. Seems like a clogged H.E would not have to be run to 36000 before you see a problem. Any steam in exhaust?
