I just changed the points and

I just changed the points and condensor and rotor to start the new season. Started right away. I then noticed the temperature gauge going up fairly fast. What are the most likely problems??. Thanks in advance.

"I don't know you, so I can't really answer that- best to get a manual and read it and then decide if you want to tackle it. It's not something you should do without a manual - The SELOC 1964-1986 OMC manual is fine. OMC factory manual better. Clymer manual kinda sucks. Call around and see if you'd even be saving any money - some marinas do it very reasonably. Some rob you blind."
