"I have a 1979 Johnson 140hp &

"I have a 1979 Johnson 140hp (140ML79R). What should be a good size battery for it? I other than the motor, I only have a small bilge pump. Right now I have a battery that has 730 cranking amps and 575 cold amps. Is it enough?

OMC recommends a minimum of 36

OMC recommends a minimum of 360 cranking amps and 115 minute reserve capacity for 50-140 horse motors and 500 amps/99 minutes reserve for all V6 models.

So your battery should be more than sufficient...
