"i got a chry 25 from a police auction, no id tags anywhere. carb stampped 3 / 84. how can i x over part #'s to id (closer)has 25/35 2 cyl head, 1/2 drive shaft, 20 hp impeller, (pull start) we (americains) bailed out chry back then, i think i even saw my lost kitchen sink in there. help please ? thanks roye. e mail me."

"Chrysler outboards have been "gone from the scene" since 1984. So your motor will be an 84 or earlier.

Your best bet at finding out what you have, if you can't find a model number anywhere, is to try and find an old dealer.

Chrysler outboard was bought by U.S. Marine in 1984 (a division of Bayliner) and they changed the name to FORCE.

Bayliner was, in turn, bought in 1986 by the Brunswick Corporation (which also owned Mercury), who completely changed the engines.

So you may have a bit of a rough time finding parts and service may be even tougher to find.
