Just installed pertronix need firing order aq151c

"just put in a pertronix ignition. guessed on the alignment of firing order (broke dist. cap) and it ran well for a while. shut off, now it doesn't want to start. could my firing order be off? 1-3-4-2 is how we set it up, just not sure how to align this on the cap. any help on this is greatly appreciated. could not find info in manual for this"

Also, the firing order is 1-3-4-2 and the distributor turns clockwise."

Are you sure you got the lead wires down out of the way of the rotor???

"so I finally figured my distributor cap was shot. i replaced cap/rotor, rechecked the air gap, set the firing order and it fired up first try. big thanks to EL pasc as always for being a great long distance mechanic and to others for their help. i can finally put the damn thing in the water now"
