I am replacin

"Hello there,

I am replacing my Paris Rhone three wire alternator on my AQ 131 for a Delco single wire one. Is there any special wiring that I need to be aware of? I know that the Delco connects to the big terminal on the starter which connects directly to the battery. The other wire is for excitation and I do not need it. Is ther anything else?

"Just connect the large wire to the alternator (+) post. Regarding the wire for excitation, either remove it altogether or insulate its terminal and secure it so that it does not touch ground by accident and either blows the fuse or starts a fire."
