" Can anyone help me to identify the year of these outboards?
Yamaha :
E40GMH s/n 6F6 L 389016 V
30GMH s/n 61T L 314916 U
E25F s/n 648 L 373894 F
E40GMH s/n ? ? 307034 ?
I have been told that these are not domestic/US models, by Yamaha USA, so they couldn't identify them.
Suzuki :
DT60W s/n 06002 - 031040
DT30 s/n 03001 - 652195
DT30 s/n 03001 - 652198
DT9.9 s/n 00993 - 831087
I was thinking that maybe the first part of the s/n was the production month/year (i.e. 03001= March 2001?), till I picked up the 9.9 for my son to practice on .The number there goes against that method 00993=? month, 1993 year? Any info provided would be greatly appreciated. "
