How do I change the lower unit

How do I change the lower unit oil on a 1984 2 stroke 60 hp evinrude? Thanks so much. I loosened a screw on the lower arm and a gray lubricant came out? Any help????

"Pan under Lower Unit. Remove

"Pan under Lower Unit. Remove top fill plug. Remove bottom drain plug. Let oil drain into pan. When "finished draining" sometimes it helps to tilt the engine up a bit to get the last of it. Inspect oil for water intrusion, and excess metal contamination. Either are signs of trouble. Pump or squeeze bottle of oil into lower hole. (Have plugs with new gaskets ready) When oil starts coming out top hole, with engine tilted down, put in top plug. Remove squeeze bottle or pump, put lower plug in. Take old oil to local autoparts store who will dispose of it for you. Make sure plugs are tight, but do not over tighten them. That's it!"
