"Hello, everybody. I'm new to this forum but regularly read and sometimes post to TheHullTruth and RodNReel. I apologize up front if this topic has been discussed before. I do not have the patience for searching.

I have a donated DT40 that I would like to convert to a tiller model for a stitch and glue boat I am close to finished building. How much trouble is it, assuming I can find a basket-case tiller to swap out parts?"

"I have a dt40 I recently bought and converted from tiller to remote with no problems. I can't keep it running due to carb problems, but if I can get it straightened out, I may be able to help you with my spare tiller parts that I no longer need."
