"I just bought a 97 party barge with a 2 stroke 40 hp mercury tracker marine engine. I want to put a 600 watt stereo system in but don't know if the electrical in the motor can charge the battery enough. Thinking of getting a second battery just for the stereo and accessories and running an isolator. Can someone tell me how many amps the engine produces? Thanks,Eric"
