" when removing a head from my omc engine i found that there is corrosion in the alluminum approaching the cylinder wall. I have used a product called "j b weld" an apoxy substance to repair an a/c coil in the past,it held for three years and i sold the vehicle with it still holding strong. This product also claims it can be usede on engine blocks,it can be machined tapped etc..
My question is if the steel part of the cylinde wall is still in good enough shap could this product be used to rebuild the coroded aluminum around it?has anyone tried this allready?please let us know if you have and what the results were.
