"are u trying to determine,if you are charging?...there is no stator voltage test by itself at those rpm's...there is a CHARGING SYSTEM test...u have a 4 amp sys.at 5000 rpm w/a partially discharged batt it should be charging 4 amp....an easier test,..is to use a volt meter on batt,ck w/eng off,..then start and run and see if batt comes up to higher voltage,if so,..u are charging.This tests the charging system ONLY,and does not test the ignition system."
