"OK, the only thing keeping me off the water. After alot of temp checks with a surface thermometer, all surfaces are checking out fine(140-160)except a 4x4 spot on the intake manifold beside the right side of the carb, looking from the rear of the engine. It pegs out the thermometer at 325 and continues to climb. Everyone I talk to is scatching their heads. The engine(383)sounds fantastic. Can rev it up to 4500 and it sounds like a Roadrunner engine! This hotspot has me stumped. Water pump looks good there is no blockage as far as I can tell.....Can anyone sugest anything???????
