"I have a 60 Mariner that I purchased 8 months ago that runs excellent, but when I take it over 4000rpm it buzzer goes off. I was told that this is the overheating buzzer. I had a new water pump installed and it still does the same. The mechanic installed a pressure guage and it reads about 10psi at 3800rpm. When the buzzer goes off, if I back the rpm below 4000 then the buzzer turns off in about 5 seconds. Any suggestions to the problem?"
