I have a 1973 25' Carver that had a 307 OMC that is toast. I have a 283 that ran last year that I believe to be a 190hp as compared to the 307 that was a 225hp. Can I bump the hp by putting a edelbrock upgrade cam and intake kit in the motor. It already has a one year old Edelbrock carb.
