Just got the motor from a fami

Just got the motor from a family member and have a few questions . What is the proper fuel ratio ? What should i look for as problems? What should be done to it before it sees the water and where do i get a hose adapter or do i need to run it in a barrel ? Thanks and if anything elsi i need to know or update please let me know thanks again..

"The fuel/oil ratio is 50:1. That is one pint of TCW-3 rated Outboard oil to six gallons of 87 octane gas.

If has been sitting a while it will need, at least, a new water pump.

Add fresh fuel and see how it runs. If not well, the carburetor will most likely need to be removed, dismantled and cleaned."
