"The audio alarm goes on only when both motors are running. I've only let them run for about a minute at a time. Water temp, oil pressure and drive oil are seem OK. Any other reasons why the alarm would sound?"

"Does your horizon have a cooling water pressure alarm switch? This may be an issue.
I am just having a 6.2 MAG MPI installed, and I seem to recall that they have this alarm.
Are both engines hooked to a common sea water pickup? If so, maybe with both running, the pickup flow is inadequate, and the pressure alarms kick in. Just a thought.
