"Sushi.... If you decide not to ship that carb out, it's really not difficult to repair/rebuild one of those carburetors yourself. It take a little patience and determination but they're not at all that complex.

You can purchase a carburetor kit for a 1962 Evinrude or Johnson which should be identical to your Gale engine at any Evinrude or Johnson dealership, also a NAPA dealer should have that kit.
