IS relpacing the seal in the l

IS relpacing the seal in the lower unit in this motor relatively easy? Any help is appreciated.

"Robert..... Hopefully you have the proper service manual as there are various seals in that lower unit and space here would not permit the full instructions for all of them.

Pertaining to your question.... anything is easy if one knows exactly what they're doing and has the proper tools to do so.

If you know exactly where the leak is, which seal it is, let us know. If not, drain the gearlube, then replace one of the screws (fill or drain). Apply 7 to 12 psi of air to the remaining hole. The leak should become evident by sight or sound."
 
Can that test be done with a r

Can that test be done with a regular air compressor with a 3 gallon tank? I assume one would need something that screws the air output into the fill hole.

"A screw fitting would be ideal but we usually incorporate a regular air nozzle coupled with a rubber fitting of some kind..... a cut cone shaped piece of fuel hose, something of that nature."
