I need info on my motor

I just bought an

I just bought an old Starcraft Chieftain 22, model CHM4 22 I/O.
Anyway, it has a Mercruiser Sterndrive which I was told was a 165hp. I have looked all over the motor for an ID Plate and can't find it. Can someone tell me where the plate should be or tell me how to find more info. on this motor.
I have read about different models such as Alpha, Bravo, etc and don't have any idea what mine is.

When ordering parts for this motor is that all the info I need or do I need a model number off a plate somewhere? If there is a Ident. Plate where is it located on the motor?

Usually the ser # plate is dow

Usually the ser # plate is down by the starter.
