" I have a 1991 Force 125hp that has always run great and now has no power under a load. It will only get to about 4000 rpm and takes forever to get on plane.It has no trouble running on the flush hose, but sucks under load. I suspect a compression issue and will check that tomorrow. Any suggestions?

just checked the compression and as I suspected
#4 has none at all. Any one want to take a shot at what that might cost to repair?

Billbrowder... Odds are it is

Billbrowder... Odds are it isn't worth spending the money on. They dont't make that motor anymore and never will. Best bet is to start shopping for a new motor. From my experiences in the past its the best way to go sorry
