" I have a 5HP Firestone Outboard. The rope is no longer in the recoil starter. The original rope had a wire through the center of the rope with a metal stud on the end that fit into the recoil. Does any one have suggestions on what to use to replace the rope? You cannot tie a knot in the rope, as that will not work. Any Suggestions???
