A friend and I are try to straiten out someone eleses mess we have a sherwood D55 pump we are looking for the water routing diagram. also are the exhust manafold gaskets from the manafold to elbow solid so water does not pass through or are they sloted to let the water to pass? we have the teardrop style manafolds.

"Here's the deal: If the engine has FWC and the manifolds are included in the cooling system, then the gaskets do NOT have a hole in them (and there's a plate to back up the gasket).


If RWC, then the hole is necessary. Okay?

I'm replacing my Sherwood D55 water pump on my 1971 440 chrysler.
the old pump shaft that holds double pulley was 3/4 inch and new D55 sherwood is 5/8 inch.
how will I fit this older double pulley hub to smaller shaft on the new pump?
