"I have a 3.0L mercruiser DDIS

"I have a 3.0L mercruiser DDIS with an automatice choke. It seems that the choke is not closing when cold. The choke butterfly is locked until some throttle is given, (I believe this is normal). When the key is ON i can feel the choke housing getting warm. How would I go about adjusting this so it closes when I try to crank it."

"A Single Pump of the Throttle

"A Single Pump of the Throttle is required to Set the Choke,........
And,....
With the Key On,.... The Choke Cover is Supposed to get Warm, to release the Choke.....

It Sounds like it's Working,..... Perfectly......"
