"Does anyone out there know when Honda recommends replacement of the water pump impeller? I use it in salt water only, flush it every use and am comming up on 400 hours. Does anyone use SaltX or the like in there Honda outboard?

Thanks for the info. I talked with Honda America and they confirmed the 200hr number. Unfortunetly my motor is a 2001 and Honda did not start advertizing the replacement/inspection of the water pump impeller in their owners manuals and shop manuals until 2005. Hope this helps others with older models.
