" I recently had my motor serviced, new thermostat, waterpump, spark plugs, etc. Since the service the motor overheat alarm goes off after about 5 minutes at idle. If I increase engine rpm the alarm will stop. Incidently, before the service the engine would warm up at about 1100 rpm's and then fall back to about 700 rpm's when it warmed up. Now the engine falls back to 500 rpm's. If I keep engine speed up at 700 or 800 rpm's using the throttle the alarm will not sound, but if I pull the throttle back and let it idle the alarm will sound in about 5 minutes. Any ideas on what this is? Thanks TomG "
