water from tell tale hose feel

water from tell tale hose feels hot to touch I would guess 140 150 degrees when hoohed to rabbit ears my question is is this normal

Yes it has two in the top of the heads they are new .The were replaced during power head rebuild just completed . It has 2 hours on new power head.The overheat alarm has not sounded but when running motor on rabbit ears the water feels hot coming from the tell tale hose I think it is about 140 degrees

THIS ENGINE WONT IDLE DOWN BELOW 1500 RPM i HAVE DISCONNECTED THROTTLE CABLE THE CARB ARE AT CLOSED BUTTERFLY RPM STILL DOES NOT CHANGE. AT THE TIME OF THE POWERHEAD OVER HAUL THE CARB BASE GASKETS WERE DIFFERENT COULD THIS BE THE PROBLEM? IF NOT WHAT COULD IT BE . IT RUNS FINE iT HAS ABOUT 6 HOURS ON NEW POWER HEAD EVERYTHING IS OK BUT IDLE RPM
