I'am thinking about buying

I'am thinking about buying a boat with motor. Has anyone had any problems with motor or heard any good things

"Paul, I have the '98 150HP Ocean Runner. I bought it in Dec last year, and only had it out a couple of times. The word on forums like these is that it was a good reliable design. I have mine on a heavy 21' dual console. It has surprizing holeshot with a 17" pitch prop, and a 34 MPH top speed. The tach is currently broken, so I cannot tell what the WOT RPMs are."

"Don't expect to get more than 20 or 30 years out of it, unless you pamper it. I'll take an original OMC design with carbs over the new junk anyday."
