"What is the recommended spark plug for the Merc 165 4cyl engines? I'm taking the advice given in my last thread and converting my engine to electronic ignition, and while ordering parts, I didn't see plugs on the marineengines.com site.

For the 6 cylinder 1

For the 6 cylinder 165 I am showing the following in the Champion book:

165 Serial 2771483 and Below: RN5C gap .035 (priced each, must order in multiples of 6)

165 Serial 2771484 and Above: RV15YC4 gap .035 (priced each, must order in multiples of 8)"
