"I am in the process of buying a new boat and a 90 horse four stroke outboard motor. I'm trying to decide which brand outboard to get. My options from the dealer selling me the boat are Mercury, Johnson or Honda. The Merc currently has a promotion going to six year warranty at no extra cost. The slightly more expensive Honda is five years. I'm told that any of the three are equal in reliability and quality. I see a LOT of Mercs on the water, here in Minnesota. Any thoughts on this?
