I have a 340 hp. inboard. Ther

I have a 340 hp. inboard. There is a bolt rattling around in the bell housing. Can the bh be removed or moved to see if I can get the bolt to drop out or does the transmission have to be backed up? Thanks.

"There's a sheet metal cover at the front of the housing. Remove some of the bolts and use a wire (coat hanger) or a magnet to remove whatever it loose. If it's a bolt, you'll want to find out where it came from. If it's for the flywheel, you can have problems at high RPM."
