"I have been reading up on spark plug indexing. I have not practiced this in the past. Was just curious on everyone's thoughts. Would practicing this give the engine a smoother idle and better pickup?

"The idea is to prevent the spray from the injector to hit the side electrode and 'shadow' the spark. In a carbed engine You have a homogenious mix fuel/air in all of the combustion chamber, in a Ficht You have the correct mix just at the spark gap, if theory works in practice!"
