" I recently acquired a boat with a one cylinder, inboard diesel. The old owner had no idea what kind of motor it was and the only identifying marks I found where underneath the engine:

0.721.110.421
A539K
7-87

There is also a symbol next to the A539K that looks sort of like a solid A above a solid W where the legs of the A fall between the 3 points of the W.
Does anyone know who the made this engine?

Do you have any idea how old it is or what country it is from? If it is 1970's plus my guess is Volvo Penta or SABB.

Those numbers don't mean anything to me. Do you have a picture of the engine? You can post it here or email it to me and I will post it.

Don't know how old but I'm guessing the 7-87 mark on it is the month and year. I think its from the states. I will get a picture of it and send it to you.

i have a boat with a diesel i

i have a boat with a diesel inboard that is a 12 or 15hp nuova arona. I iunderstand its origin is Italian and developed from agricultural machinery. It is one pot. I desperately need a manual and source of spares. Any help much appreciated.
