    Default I'm restoring a wooden ru

    I'm restoring a wooden runabout. I've got a chevy 348 cid engine. I like the looks of the engine.
    I want to put the motor in the boat. Where do I find the manifolds and the trany for this engine?

    " Pacemaker marinized 409s, several parts are interchangable. They're hard to come by though. Usually has a 2-1 or bigger gear. You'd be better off in the long run starting fresh with a more modern V-8 "

    Default Where would I start to look f

    Where would I start to look for marine parts or maybe a 409 marine engine. The reason I looking at these motors is how they look. I'm after a 50's look.
